Once a course is arranged, you will receive a booking confirmation. You should check the details carefully, sign and return the form within three working days.

Course suitability

It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the course is suitable for the delegate's requirements. Alpha Training accepts no liability in the event that the content of the course does not meet the client's or the delegate's requirements.

Fees for services

Fees for services include training by an appropriate qualified person, course materials where appropriate and certificates of attendance for course delegates. Half days bookings are usually charged at 75% of the full day fee. Discounts are available for long term contracts, multiple bookings, and for not for profit organisations.

Expenses

Travel outside the London/M25 area will be invoiced at 40p per mile or standard second class rail fare. Overnight accommodation and meals will only be invoiced with prior agreement.

Payment

For existing clients an invoice will be issued on completion of the course and full payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. For new clients payment is required no later than 15 days prior to the course start date. Alpha Training reserves the right to charge statutory interest of 8% plus the Bank of England base rate on overdue payments and such interest to run from payment due date until full payment receipt.

Cancellation

A verbal or written confirmation of a booking constitutes a contract with Alpha Training. Any cancellations must be made in writing at least 21 days prior to the course start date. Otherwise Alpha Training reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee, based on the full course fee, of 50% with 15-21 days notice, 75% within 8-14 days notice and 100% with 0-7 days notice. Clients may substitute course delegates, providing they meet the course requirements, with written notification to Alpha Training.

Rescheduled courses

In extreme circumstances it may be necessary for Alpha Training to reschedule a course upon which has been booked. If rescheduled dates of the course are not convenient, Alpha Training's liability will be limited to a refund of the fees paid.

Course materials

It is acknowledged that all intellectual property rights, including copyright, patents, design rights and know how in or relating to the course or course material provided or made available in connection with the course, remain the sole property of Alpha Training unless otherwise stated, and no copies may be made of course materials unless expressly agreed in writing by Alpha Training.

Course times

Courses will start promptly at the agreed time. Delegates must ensure they arrive in good time. If they have missed a substantial portion of the course they may be turned away at the discretion of the trainer.

Onsite courses

Where a course is provided onsite it is the client's responsibility to provide a training room that is free from interruption, with digital projector, whiteboard or flipchart and marker pens as a minimum. For Information Technology training, computers with the appropriate software installed should also be provided for each delegate and the trainer. Clients should take all reasonable steps to safeguard the staff or representatives of Alpha Training when on their premises, as well as any property brought onto the premises for the purpose of providing the course.

Offsite courses

Where a closed course is provided offsite by Alpha Training it is the responsibility of the client to communicate any special requirements in writing to Alpha Training prior to the event. The course fee will include the hire of the room for the duration of the course. Where the provision of computer and AV equipment and lunch is optional this is to be agreed between the client and Alpha Training at the time of booking.

Public courses

Where a person is booked on a public course it is the responsibility of the client to communicate any special requirements in writing to Alpha Training prior to the event. All delegates are required to comply with health and safety arrangements. For full day courses lunch is provided for each delegate.

Complaints

Alpha Training is committed providing you with high quality training. If however you are dissatisfied with any of our training services, then let us know within 14 days of delivery and we will: give you a single point of contact who will investigate your issue within 3 working days; work with you to find a solution that meets your original learning objectives; aim to achieve a satisfactory resolution within 3 working days; where this is not possible we will agree an action plan with you; if we have failed to meet our high quality standards we will offer you a refund.
